Terms and Conditions
These terms apply when you enquire about or book training with Forklift Pioneer Training Ltd (company number 14139757), Unit 8, Paper Mill Road, Birmingham, B44 8NH. Using this website or submitting a form constitutes an enquiry, not a confirmed booking, until we have agreed dates, course type and price in writing (including email).
Quotes and bookings
Quotes are based on the pathway you describe (novice, semi-experienced, conversion or refresher), truck type, group size and location. A published web page is not a fixed price list. Bookings are confirmed when we accept your dates and you accept the quote. Price-match offers apply only to like-for-like accredited training and are subject to our confirmation.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about prior training and the trucks to be used
- Arrive on time with the PPE we specify (typically safety boots)
- For on-site courses, provide a safe training area and a serviceable truck of the correct category
- Complete employer familiarisation after the course before unsupervised operation
Cancellations and changes
Tell us as soon as you need to change a date. Late cancellations or failure to attend may still be charged where we cannot fill the place, as set out in your confirmation. We may reschedule for instructor illness, unsafe site conditions, or a truck that is not available for assessment.
Certificates
Certificates are issued only after successful assessment. Attendance alone does not guarantee a pass. Refreshers require evidence of previous formal training on the relevant category.
Website content
Course descriptions, durations and examples are typical and may vary with group size and progress. They are not a substitute for HSE ACOP L117, PUWER or LOLER, which remain the employer’s legal duties.
Limitation
We deliver training and assessment with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for how a client authorises operators afterwards, or for site conditions we do not control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
